The management fees charged by funds of hedge funds fell by
20% globally and by nearly 30% in Europe, according to a report
published by investment consultant bfinance.
In the report, titled Investment Management Fees: New
Savings, New Challenges, bfinance found the median quoted
fee has dropped from 100 basis points to 80 basis points, since
its previous fee study in January 2015. In Europe, the average
fee is now down to 69 basis points.
On top of the FoHFs management fees, bfinance found
underlying hedge fund fees averaged 1.4%...
